Diddle Diddle Dumpling...My son, John....

I just had to snap a pic of this typical moment in the life of Titus. I was in the hallway switching the laundry over and folding the load that had just finished in the dryer. Titus was walking around eating some grapes, so I asked him to get the laundry basket so mommy could put the clean clothes inside of it. When I turned around to ask him if he had retrieved it...this is what I saw.
We had received the carseat a day earlier from some friends and earlier in the day Titus had been playing with the seat and the basket. So, when I asked him to bring me the basket... He tried to get the seat out of it (which I didn't know was stuck inside)...and when it wouldn't come loose (after much grunting and moaning)...he decided to just take a break and get some refreshment from this hard day's work of being mommy's helper!

as a side note...I find it nearly impossible to keep 2 socks on Titus' feet. he tends to slide around if he has 2 socks on, so I often find him with only 1 sock on...the bare foot is his way of insuring he doesn't slip and slide while trying to run in the house...and the socked foot is to appease his mommy who is forever telling him to keep his feet covered to stay warm!
