Funny "Fountain" Story

Well we all know the danger anyone faces when changing a baby boy's diaper, but does the baby boy know what danger he faces? Last Thursday I was changing Titus' diaper and I looked away for 1 second and he had started spraying a fountain all over the place. I was able to catch most of the stream with the wipe, but since I thought he was done, I turned around again to finish grabbing the new container of wipes out of the drawer. When I turned around the second time, the fountain was flowing right onto Titus' face and was cascading down the side of his head. It was all over his face and he was licking it off of his lips before I could get it wiped off. I was laughing so hard and he was just staring at me with this look as if to say he did not care for this new taste in his mouth.
Aunt Amy and Uncle Justin came to visit this weekend. We had so much fun playing games and watching movies. Titus refused to smile for them the whole weekend, but Sunday night he gave out some smiles to Aaron Broughton and Julia Tuttle while Justin and Amy weren't looking. He is such a pleasant natured baby, but he has a furrowed brow look on his face more often than his sweet smile. Here are some more pics!

I'd like to think that Titus is smiling because he's thinking about his favorite Aunt Bonnie! I love you, Little Man!!!!

Dear Anne -
This is Heather (Chromy) Mitchell. You can check out my blog at www.mitchells2000.blogspot.com There's an update on my family (if you're interested) under a post named "The Chromy Family" (original, huh?) :-)

Love the fountain story. I don't have kids yet (still), but I am an RN taking care of a little boy (home health care). A couple of weeks ago, he did the same thing to his 13 year old cousin, but he cried really hard when he did it like it scared him or something.

Titus is adorable! Congrats on your little one!

Hey Anne,
I was so excited when I saw your comment on my blog and when I heard that you are a mommy now. Congratulations! I see from the pictures that you were such a cute pregnant lady. And little Titus Kip is so adorable. I can't imagine the responsibility you feel as a parent. For now I'm content babysitting my neices and nephews, but I can't wait to have my own someday. I've always wanted to be a mommy. Anyway, it's nice being updated on your family. I hope you can make it to Panera sometime soon. We lucked out this semester because my parents got wireless and we live in their basement apartment. Well, let me know when you're heading up this way again. Oh, and tell me how your husband likes seminary at Virginia Beach. We still don't know where we're going to seminary next year.

hey, that guy needs a towel, right where it counts, whenever you change. I don't know why, but those peeing stories are always the most hilarious. How long has it been? and I still hear the one about my brother peeing on my uncle.
Hey Girl!!!!
Congrats! Def. keep in touch.

Hey Anne! Your little guy is too cute! For some reason, our Aaron has only had a fountain ONE TIME - in the hospital, he hit himself in the eye. Not since then, for all of his 6 1/2 months. Weird if you ask me. However, we have had some projectile diaper action of a different sort. Aren't kids fun?

Beth, I am a pickup courier/International specialist at the Norfolk station in Virginia Beach. I pick up peoples stuff and say what does and doesn't get to go overseas. Not much to it really. It is FedEx Express so I am constantly moving and rushing against time. The stress and late hours are the only things I don't care for. All around it is great. How are you doing? Keep us updated about your summer. k.
Mark
